To prevent tartar build up in the animal's early years we advise tooth brushing three times a week to remove plaque, as well as encouraging dogs to chew on special dental-bones - available at our shop. Vaccinations are essential for travel to different countries with a European passport. Pointer Clinic has a wide selection of products for your pet. This includes food, including special veterinary diets, collars and leads, toys, treats, clothes, beds, travel cages and shampoos. We also provide treatments for fleas and ticks. Unfortunately we cannot take stray animals that you find because we are an animal hospital and must guard your pets against any diseases that could be brought into the clinic. We advise you to contact your local rescue centre for information about what to do with stray animals. From time to time we do have animals in the clinic for re-homing that have been health checked and are ready to go into a caring home. Please contact us to see what pets we have available for your home. Dental
After about five years of age both cats and dogs will need a dental check. This will be carried out by the vet when they have their annual vaccinations. If treatment is required a general scale and polish will remove tartar from the teeth.Vaccination
Yearly vaccinations are very important in both dogs and cats, in order to protect against contagious diseases such as: distemper, parvo virus, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and rabies in dogs, and calici virus, rhinotracheitis, leukemia, chlamydia and rabies in cats. Shop
